Pinecones are some of my favorite fall accessories. Not only are they perfect for fall decorating, but they’re free. I can seriously walk out my front door right now and pick up hundreds of pinecones. And, if you don’t have access to them in your yard, you can get them at most craft stores, or even the Dollar Store, for very little. So if they’re not free for you, they’re at least really cheap and you can do so much with them.

I’ve been collecting pinecones since they started falling a few weeks ago and I have tons in baskets on my porch just waiting for a great fall décor project. So, I started looking for a few projects and found 25 of the most amazing things that you can do with pinecones! From centerpieces to fairy houses, there is definitely a way that you can incorporate those pinecones into your fall decorating. Also check out these 10 holiday pinecone decorations. Use some of those leftover pinecones to create Christmas decorations that you will love.

I never thought about using them to create Halloween décor or even making garlands out of them to hang on the Christmas tree. You just never know how useful something is until you see a DIY project and I’ve got a nice little collection of DIY pinecone projects for you. 1. DIY Pinecone Centerpiece

A wooden bowl, a candle and some pinecones give you the makings of a beautiful centerpiece. You can make this with things that you already have on hand…if you have a bowl and candleholder to use. Just put the candleholder and candle inside the bowl and then cover around the candleholder with pinecones. It’s an easy five minute project that will make a huge statement piece.

2. Snowy Pinecone Luminaries

Depending on where you live, fall may also mean snow, which makes these pinecone luminaries perfect for decorating. You’ll need mason jars, twine, pinecones and snow glitter to make these. They’re perfect for decorating side tables or you could make several and turn them into a gorgeous centerpiece. They’re also great for decorating from Thanksgiving all the way through Christmas.

3. Easy Hanging Pinecone Ribbons

This is the perfect fall and winter decoration if you have stairs. Even if you don’t, you can find somewhere to hang this lovely pinecone ribbon decoration. It’s so easy to make and only requires a handful of pinecones and ribbon to string it up. Just stick the ribbon through the top of your pinecones with thumbtacks and hang them wherever you want to add some rustic décor.

4. DIY Pinecone Roof Fairy House

I love fairy houses. They’re just so magical and so easy to make. This one in particular is easy to make and gives your yard some wonderful fall décor.
